Learn how to Share: Mastering the Google Docs Sharing Settings
One of the most misunderstood features of Google Docs are the sharing settings. Granted, there are a lot of options. Understanding how to manage sharing effectively is very important if you are to take full advantage of the collaborative aspects of the Google Docs Suite.

Thanks for the clear and thorough video on sharing a Google doc, John. I did not know about the " restrict access" option and how it generates a different URL. The one thing you might have added was explanation about the option of allowing those with editing privileges to share with others and/or change permissions -or not. Thanks for all of your wonderful resources for helping educators use Google apps to their full advantage.
